Tolhuistuin
The Bloody Beautiful Festival takes place at Tolhuistuin on the scenic banks of the IJ river of Amsterdam North on the 3 October 2025. It is one of Amsterdam’s leading cultural hubs, located within a 5-minute ferry ride from Amsterdam Central Station.
Tolhuistuin has a well-loved cultural programme with a great restaurant, an idyllic garden, an outdoor terrace for drinks and panoramic views over the city, wrapped in a creative atmosphere. About 30 cultural organisations and creative makers have their workplace in this iconic space.

DOKA
Opening night, 2 October 2025: Meet us on the dance floor for our opening night in the legendary nightclub DOKA. Located in the basement of the Volkshotel, it’s a 10-minute metro ride from Amsterdam Central Station.
DOKA is a late night music venue and an Amsterdam subculture favourite. It sets the stage for the festival kick-off with celebration, a live performance, great music and a meeting place for fellow festival participants.
DOKA is located in the East of Amsterdam, a stone’s throw from the banks of the Amstel river and many of the city’s best waterside cafés. The Volkshotel is home to the affect lab studio as part of the buzzing Broedplaats VKG (with 85 workspaces for creatives).
